Brian Chia featured in touring exhibition

A NICE SET
33 artists from around the world were invited to design one of a kind sets of slip mats for a touring exhibition and book which would explore the way visual art and music hang together. The show was curated by Plus et Plus, and conceptualized in collaboration with The Reed Space.


A NICE SET Singapore

The Singapore show was curated by AWE50ME in association with Dope, IDN, the Reed Space and Plus et Plus. 33 Singapore artists with the highest ratings were chosen from an online poll against their digital design. They were then asked to actually customise the slip mats and the mats were displayed in an pop up exhibition on 29 May 2009 at Hacienda, Dempsey Road Singapore.


3 best of show artists were selected by a pool of judges, namely

* chris lee, asylum

Creative [SIN]ergy member, Brian Chia aka brick is proud to emerge as the 2nd judges choice and received an AWE50ME trophy.
