Eliza Tan divides her time between writing and curating. She has been based in London since 2006. Trained as an art historian at the Courtauld Institute of Art, she is a regular correspondent for the Ctrl+P Journal of Contemporary Art and a member of the International Association of Art Critics, Singapore. Apart from art criticism, Eliza dabbles in short fiction and poetry. Her poems have previously been featured in publications such as the anthology No Other City by Ethos Publications and in FirstFruits’ literary journal. Eliza currently practices as an independent curator, prior to which she worked for art organisations such as the Singapore Arts Council, Solomon R.
