Creative [SIN]ergy were invited to perform an abridged version of 1 of nine at the Singapore High Commission in London on October 2nd 2009. This event was hosted by Mrs Teo and the Singapore High Commission in London to an audience of ASEAN ladies. These ASEAN ladies were treated to a morning talk on breast cancer awareness conducted by Breast Cancer Care followed by performances from the 1 of nine participants. The performance pieces included, Morgen by R. Strauss, Ave Maria by Bach-Gounod, Summertime by Gershwin and O mio babbino from the opera 'Gianni Schicchi' by G. Puccini all performed by Eeping Yee (Soprano) and Fontane Liang (Harpist), 2 solo accordion pieces by Shzr Ee Tan, an experimental music piece by Song Ming Ang (Sound Artist) and Fontane Liang (Harpist), And finally ending the afternoon with a 3min poetic film by Lilia Yip (Fashion Designer) and Ziliang Song (Pianist).

1 of nine is a charity fundraiser in aid of Breast Cancer Care, a registered UK charity. This event will be held at Toynbee Hall in the East End on 10th October 2009 during breast cancer awareness month. 1 of nine features collaborations between Musicians, Artist and Designer, resulting in a cross disciplinary effort of performance pieces and a charity auction.The name 1 of nine refers to the probability during the overall life expectancy of a women, 1 out of 9 may suffer from breast cancer. It also refers to the participants, which are made up of 9 pairs consisting of 9 musicians and 9 artists/ designers coming together for 1 cause.
1 of nine is in aid of Breast Cancer Care and is supported by The Singapore High Commission in UK, Overseas Singaporean Unit and Yeo's, with special Thanks to Mrs Teo.
